Causes an ephemeral lock of force to appear on target door, chest or held device, whose Handle Device DC becomes equal to 5 + caster level. This is a noticeable effect even if the caster is hidden. If arcane lock is cast on a target which is already locked, the spell loudly fails as the mechanisms are still manipulated but unmoved.
